Marc Taylor is a British artist based in Kent.
Taylor’s contemporary sculpture is inspired by classical forms often indulging himself in large scale decorative pieces. Taylor is a minimalist at heart inspired by architectural planes of mid-century studio pottery, Ben Nicholson’s reliefs, the radical sculptures of Giacometti, and the sensuous forms of Brancusi. He is never far away from the Soane Museum’s bonkers collection of classical fragments.
